 Cleated belts help convey loose, large or awkward objects up inclines. When a roughtop is not enough, a cleated belt becomes the practical solution. The ‘T’ cleat is the most popular and is available up to 3” high. We also supply a heavier profile known as the “Beefy” cleat, for those tougher applications.
Guides may be placed on the top or bottom of a belt to aid in the tracking or reduce spill over. Various styles (A, B or C) are available to suite your application. Guides may also be used in place of cleats when your system will not allow clearance for the regular taller ‘T’ or ‘Beefy’ cleats.
Guides or cleats can be manufactured to your specs whether it be full width, chevron, indented, etc..... We also provide food grade cleats and guides that are FDA approved.
At MWE our cleats are hot bonded/vulcanized to ensure a permanent seal on the belt. Cleats that are simply glued tend to come off after a relatively short period of time whereas cleats that are vulcanized remain attached for the duration of the belts life.
We guarantee a permanent seal between the cleat and belt cover that will not delaminate.
