MWE Belting has the ability to vulcanize cleats to any of our PVC belts.  Cleats and guides come in both white and black and are offered in many sizes as well as notched.  An unrivaled design feature of the MWE Cleat is the cleat base which, permits the use of pulleys with the same diameter as those used if the belt were not cleated.  This is because our cleats are hot bonded and become homogenous with the belt.  Cleats which are simply glued to the belt tend to come off after a relatively short period of time whereas cleats that are vulcanized remain attached for the duration of the belt's life.  The “T” design is the most popular and any number of patterns can be done with this cleat (full width, chevron, indented, etc)  We also supply a heavier profile known as our “Beefy” Cleat, for tougher applications.

    MWE also vulcanizes guides in order to help tracking, to our PVC belts.  Various styles (O, A, B or C) are available to suit your application. Guides may also be used in place of cleats if your system will not allow the use of cleats based on their size.  Guides or cleats can be vulcanized in virtually any configuration based on your needs.
